REMOTE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES TO DEMONSTRATE NEW PRODUCT AT USCAP 103RD ANNUAL MEETING

Interactive demonstration of features and enhancements to the newly released iMedHD2™ to reflect company’s focus on helping pathologists collaborate remotely and in dynamic real-time.

February 25, 2014- Melville, NY – Remote Medical Technologies, LLC. will be demonstrating the new iMedHD2™ telepathology system at this years’ USCAP 103rd Annual Meeting taking place in San Diego, California. Improving on the existing iMedHD™ telemedicine system platform, Remote Medical Technologies (RMT) has added several features and technological advancements to solidify their state-of-the-art advances in the telehealthcare industry.

One of the major enhancements to iMedHD2™ that pathologists, radiologists, and physicians will agree upon is the new DisplayMapper™ technology. Regardless of screen resolution, DisplayMapper™ eliminates pre-existing scroll bars by adapting to participants computer monitor in order for them to continue to view high definition microscope and grossing images in live, real-time. Automatically scaling and mapping to your devices screen resolution and allowing full-screen mode views, DisplayMapper™ will save time and improve diagnostic results. Founder and CEO, Don Marchon, is pleased that, “we can provide gorgeous high definition imaging in real-time, regardless of screen resolution without having to compromise pre-existing tools, such as annotations and notes”. This adaptive technology found with iMedHD2™ also continues to have improved on the drawing panel, as well as continuing to allow users to record to their PC or MPA and capturing full screen images.

RMT will be exhibiting at booth #234 during USCAP’s 103rd Annual Meeting, taking place March 1st through March 7th, 2014 in San Diego, California. For more information on USCAP visit www.uscap.org. REMOTE MEETING TECHNOLOGIES CHANGES NAME TO REMOTE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES

REMOTE MEETING TECHNOLOGIES CHANGES NAME TO
REMOTE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES

Name change better reflects the company’s focus on helping pathologists and physicians collaborate remotely and in dynamic real-time.

February 11, 2014- Melville, NY – Remote Meeting Technologies, LLC. has changed its name to Remote Medical Technologies, LLC. to better reflect the capabilities of its product offering, the iMedHD™ telepathology system, as well as the company’s focus on being the first in the industry to provide technology that allows pathologists, surgeons, and physicians to collaborate remotely in dynamic real-time – whether they’re in a pathology lab, operating room , on the road or at home.

The iMedHD™ telepathology system allows pathologists, physicians, and clinicians to share slides and gross specimens online and in dynamic real-time without having to scan tissue slides, ship specimens or delay crucial diagnoses during surgery. The system is HIPAA compliant and is easy to use: System users simply send a secure URL to meeting participants who login after being approved. The iMedHD™ system enables all meeting participants to view high-definition images — down to the sub nuclear level for tissue slides — in dynamic real-time. Users can make diagnoses on the spot – significantly improving patient care and lowering shipping and/or travel costs.

“We’ve continually refined the iMedHD™ system based on customer feedback. Physicians are enthusiastic about how we have developed the latest in high performance live HD technology to use across Internet platforms and mobile devices,” says Remote Medical Technologies Founder and CEO, Don Marchon. “The system is incredibly easy-to-use – giving pathologists and physicians a powerful way to share, collaborate, and make diagnoses in dynamic real time – whether from a desktop, tablet or smart phone. By changing our name, we better reflect how our product is being used in hospitals and laboratories across the U.S. and around the world.”

Pathologists and surgeons wanting to learn more about the iMedHD™ telepathology system can schedule a free online demo by visiting www.rmtcentral.com, which also features complete product information, applications for which the product is used (including surgery and ultrasound), FAQs, case studies, and newly recorded webcasts.
